Schedule: July 21, 22, and 23, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The workshop lasts three days.
Location: Technical Museum Nikola Tesla, Hall V, Tratinska Street 2b, 10000 Zagreb
Workshop Description:
The workshop is designed to help participants acquire knowledge about art and design topics through play and to foster better emotional connections between friends, family, and groups. The first part of the workshop involves creating a game, while the second part involves playing the game they created.
The workshop is divided into three parts. In the first part, participants will get acquainted with the workshop content (artworks from the MUO collection). The second part involves creative artistic work, where they will draw, paint, collage, and design a board game under the guidance of the leaders. They will learn various artistic techniques and elements from different styles, using them as inspiration in their work. Through the artistic part of the workshop, they will learn how to represent different content visually and shape it into a board game. In the third part, participants will play their board game created with the leaders and other participants. Through the game, they will learn about the MUO collection and how to recognize different styles. Since the board game will be created collaboratively, each participant will artistically develop one part of the game. After the workshop, each participant will keep the artwork (part of the game) they created.
