The film \u201cA Day at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum\u201d<\/em><\/strong> has been included in the official selection of the Psaroloco International Children’s & Young People\u2019s Film Festival in Greece!<\/strong> The film was created at the Frooom! film workshop in 2022 as part of the museum program “WITH A NEANDERTHAL” in animation.<\/strong><\/p>\n The film involved<\/strong>: Petar Borove\u010dki, Franka Ivanjko, Nadja Lon\u010dar Uvodi\u0107, Parik Halu\u017ean, Toma Me\u0161trovi\u0107, Bartol Zagorec, Vita Bra\u010di\u0107, Jana Herceg, Teo Loji\u0107, Ivano Puljko, Matija Loji\u0107, and Vinka Nova\u010dki<\/p>\n Collaborators<\/strong>: Boris Bakal, Lorca Lon\u010dar Uvodi\u0107, and Andrea \u0160tefanec<\/p>\n Mentors<\/strong>: Ma\u0161a Udovi\u0107i\u0107 and Dea Jagi\u0107<\/p>\n Psaroloco<\/strong> is a film projection program specifically designed for children and adolescents, with selected films and group workshops where children independently create their own short films (fiction, documentary, stop-motion, etc.). Their goal is to encourage children to think critically through films that provoke thought and to showcase exceptional works by filmmakers from around the world. We are proud that our participants and mentors have created a film that will be shown at such a festival.<\/p>\n The festival journey of this film is diverse. It has been selected for the main international program at the Valparaiso Amateur Film Festival in Valparaiso, Chile (2024), the competition program at Animator FEST – European Youth Festival of Animated Film in Jagodina, Serbia (2023), the competition program at Anim!Arte – International Student Animation Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2023), and the competition program at FIFES Comedy Film Festival in Luka, Croatia (2023).<\/strong><\/p>\n Moths<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The short experimental fiction film \u201cMoths\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, created at the masterclass film workshop in Rijeka<\/strong> in the summer of 2022, will be shown in Prague at the A-FilmTeens Festival, held from February 12-23.<\/strong><\/p>\n The film involved<\/strong>: Borna Jane\u017ei\u0107, Mia Vukanovi\u0107, Anja Peloza, Dominik Vel\u010di\u0107, and Marul Lerga<\/p>\n Mentor<\/strong>: Dubravka Kurobasa<\/p>\n A-FilmTeens<\/strong> is an international festival for audiovisual works produced by young people aged 6 to 20 from around the world. Their goal is to encourage the youngest generation to think, do meaningful work, develop, and gain new insights and knowledge. Since today\u2019s younger generation is highly literate in information technology, they also aim to foster intergenerational understanding. Through the films they showcase, older generations can better understand today\u2019s youth. We are proud that this festival is a part of the journey for \u201cMoths\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n The film has already been shown at the Lantern & Light International Children\u2019s Film Festival in Melbourne and was awarded the Grand Prix in September 2024.
