On\u00a0Saturday, <\/strong>the short film \u201cIs There Hope for Us?\u201d<\/em> was screened at Dokukino KIC (Preradovi\u0107eva 5)<\/strong>. The screening was followed by a conversation with the workshop participants and the mentors.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Combat Cinema: Film and Resistance<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0workshop was held from February 24 to 28, 2025, as part of the\u00a0CinEd project <\/a><\/strong>and the\u00a0Frooom! film school<\/strong><\/a>, in collaboration with\u00a0Dokukino KIC and Cinema Unseen.<\/strong>\u00a0The workshop was intended for young people aged 14 to 19.<\/p>\n Over the course of five days, participants, under the mentorship of film author and dramaturge\u00a0Karla Crn\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0and film critic and curator\u00a0Dina Pokrajac<\/strong>, explored the history of subversive and politically engaged cinema, watched and discussed films from the Third Cinema, considered what the concept of resistance means to them, and gathered materials (texts, photographs, newspaper articles, videos) to create their own short film while learning to work as a collective.<\/p>\n The workshop participants are:<\/p>\n See how it went in the gallery.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\n
