San Antonio Independent Film Festival<\/a><\/strong> will take place from March 19 to 22<\/strong> and has the mission of promoting independent short and feature film productions, as well as providing independent filmmakers with the opportunity to connect with the Ecuadorian audience. The festival offers a platform for films of various genres, with a focus on themes such as humanity, social issues, solidarity, childhood, women, and other important social topics. It is held in the city of San Antonio de Ibarra, where local, regional, and global films are showcased, providing a platform for global film productions while highlighting the values of community and culture. We are proud that the film made by our participants has been selected for this festival, and that their effort will be recognized by the Ecuadorian audience.<\/p>\n

The film “A Day at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum”<\/strong> was created during the Frooom! Film Workshop in 2022, as part of the museum program “WITH NEANDERTHALS”<\/strong> in animation.<\/p>\n

The following participants were involved in the film: <\/strong>Petar Borove\u010dki, Franka Ivanjko, Nadja Lon\u010dar Uvodi\u0107, Parik Halu\u017ean, Toma Me\u0161trovi\u0107, Bartol Zagorec, Vita Bra\u010di\u0107, Jana Herceg, Teo Loji\u0107, Ivano Puljko, Matija Loji\u0107, and Vinka Nova\u010dki.<\/p>\n

Collaborators: <\/strong>Boris Bakal, Lorca Lon\u010dar Uvodi\u0107, and Andrea \u0160tefanec.<\/p>\n

Mentors: <\/strong>Ma\u0161a Udovi\u010di\u0107 and Dea Jagi\u0107.<\/p>\n

The festival journey of this film has been diverse. It was selected for the main international program<\/strong> at the Valparaiso Amateur Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> in Valparaiso, Chile<\/strong> (2024), the competition program at Animator FEST \u2013 European Youth Festival of Animated Film<\/strong><\/a> in Jagodina, Serbia<\/strong> (2023), the competition program at Anim!Arte \u2013 International Student Animation Festival<\/strong><\/a> in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil<\/strong> (2023), and the competition program at FIFES Comedy Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> in Luka, Croatia<\/strong> (2023). At the end of March, it will be shown in Greece<\/strong> as part of the official selection of the Psaroloco International Children\u2019s & Young People\u2019s Film Festival<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
