Our Frooom! team has packed their bags once again and set off for Belgium! From October 27 to November 2<\/strong>, we\u2019re spending the week in Brussels<\/strong> at Filem\u2019On<\/strong>, the international film festival for children and young people. The festival has been bringing together film lovers of all ages for years, inspiring creativity, critical thinking, and opening doors to the world of film art from every corner of the globe.<\/p>\n This year, participants from Zagreb, Rijeka, and Split<\/strong> \u2013 Viktor Rasol, Vid Klisuri\u0107, Mak Pera\u010di\u0107, David Marijanovi\u0107, Maro Luk\u0161i\u0107, and Ozren Stojsavljevi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 are traveling with mentors Mija Zara Bur\u010dul<\/strong> and Marin Paliska<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Filem\u2019On isn\u2019t just a film festival \u2013 it\u2019s a true cinematic adventure!<\/strong> Alongside feature films, animated works, and documentaries, the program includes workshops and activities designed for children and teenagers up to 16 years old. The films come from all around the world, and many of them are titles you rarely get to see in regular cinemas. A special emphasis is placed on linguistic and cultural diversity<\/strong> \u2013 screenings are available in multiple languages with subtitles, making them accessible to young audiences from all backgrounds in multilingual Brussels.<\/p>\n Our Frooom! participants are not just viewers \u2013 thanks to a long-term collaboration with Filem\u2019On (dating back to 2020), they\u2019ve had the chance to serve as jury members<\/strong> and even award prizes<\/strong> to the best films for teens.<\/p>\n Beyond the festival itself, Filem\u2019On runs participatory projects<\/strong> throughout the year in cooperation with schools and organizations working with children and young people. These projects allow kids not only to watch films but also to create them<\/strong>, developing their creative, communication, and teamwork skills along the way.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve already immersed ourselves in the festival atmosphere \u2013 watching, discussing, exploring, and learning.
