Date:<\/strong> November 19, 2025 As part of the project \u201cPerformance is Archive, Archive is Performance: Critical Approaches and Innovative Methods for Preserving Performing Arts\u201d<\/em>, the workshop explores ways of recording, archiving, and reinterpreting performing arts through practical, reflective, and interdisciplinary approaches.<\/p>\n The goal of the workshop is to gather personal memories, sensory impressions, and reflections from workshop participants, i.e., audience members, in order to develop new, participatory models for preserving performance practices. Since systematic archiving and preservation of performing arts has not yet been undertaken in Croatia, Shadow Casters introduce a completely new, experimental approach that combines practice, theory, and audience engagement.<\/p>\n Guest Lecturer:<\/strong> Zrinka D\u017eoi\u0107 (Department of Information Sciences, University of Zadar) will give a workshop lecture titled \u201cThe Archive as a Living Body\u201d<\/em>, presenting documentation and archiving practices in independent performing arts in Croatia. Participants will reflect on their own \u201cwork archive\u201d<\/em> in small groups through a guided exercise \u2014 considering what it would contain, how it would look, its boundaries, and whether it exists at all.<\/p>\n The workshop involves students from the Academy of Fine Arts (ALU) and lecturers who are experts in performing arts.<\/p>\n Registration and Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n
