SHADOW CASTERS ON FILM FESTIVAL FILEM’ON IN BRUSSELS!

Our Frooom! (films school for children and youth) students from Rijeka and Zagreb participated from October 30 to November 6 at the international film festival for children and by children, Filem’On in Brussels, in the work of the international jury for awarding the best European children’s film.
They socialized and collaborated together with young people from Poland, the Netherlands, Finland and Belgium, and while watching hundreds of films, they participated in numerous workshops, the preparation of the award ceremony and got to know the European capital.

Frooom! film school for children and youth, Shadow Casters organisation and the Republic of Croatia were represented in Brussels by Agata Golebiowski, Anja Pelosa, Eva Cvijetić, Ivan Mikulić, Lovro Biondić, Marul Lerga and their leaders and professors, director and cameraman Bojana Burnać and choreographer, acrobat and dancer Nikolina Komljenović.

On Friday, November 4, they also showed their works that they achieved last year and the year before at Frooom! film school for children and young people. The cooperation between Bacača shenki and the Filem’On festival began in 2020 and is being successfully implemented through the co-financing of the EU Erasmus+ program.

Last year at Filem’on, the Shadow Casters and students from Rijeka and Zagreb participated in the work of two juries for adults and got to know the festival and Brussels in an interesting and fun way.
