An innovative approach to the essential and inevitable preservation of heritage—the traces, processes, and contexts of the performing arts—amidst the challenges these art forms face in the digital age.
Urboglyphs are readings of symbolic and spatial accumulations of signs and meanings—etched through layered inscriptions of diverse cinematic events into a single site of occurrence. This time, we read and interpret the Zagreb neighborhood of Trnje through the lens of film.
The project explores—and creatively unifies—that vast realm where film becomes heritage, a new language of understanding, and a work of art.
