Bojana Burnać, born 1981 in Sisak, living in Zagreb, Croatia. Master of Art (MA), Academy of Dramatic Arts, Department of Cinematography, University of Zagreb.
Director of photography of fiction, documentary and experimental films, length feature and short feature films. Underwater cinematographer. Lecturer of cinematography for children. First female director of photography in history of Croatian cinematography who made feature length narrative film. Director and scriptwriter of documentary films.
Her films were in official selection on Cannes, Rotterdam, Sarajevo, Montpellier, San Sebastian and many other international film festivals where they were rewarded.
Her first directing feature length documentary My Life Without Air had a World premiere on Hot Docs Canada official selection and European premiere in Karlovy Vary IFF main program. It is awarded as The Best Balkan Newcomer on Dokufest Prizren, Kosovo.
