Shadow Casters Association proudly presents the project “Community Constellations” and the upcoming event:

Local and Famous Stories

  • Date and Time: Thursday, June 27th at 7:00 PM

Event Description: Join us for a particularly pleasant and intimate evening where we will discover, through conversations with inspiring artists, how they transformed their life obstacles into incredible successes. This creative evening is designed as an intimate conversation with the audience, providing a unique opportunity for all questions as well as personal and motivational experiences. Learn how our guests, despite all challenges, flaws, and mistakes, managed to achieve their dreams and how they turned their weaknesses into strengths and/or virtues. Together with our guests, we will also watch a short Croatian film. Come and be part of an evening that promises inspiration, invokes courage, and stimulates creativity.

The event will be hosted and moderated by Boris Bakal, an award-winning theater, TV, radio, and film actor and director.

Special Guests:

  • Damir Karakaš, a prominent Croatian writer, known for his fascinating prose that captivates readers with its depth and emotion. His novella “Kino Lika” was not only adapted into a successful film but also awarded numerous accolades, confirming his status as one of the most important contemporary authors. Karakaš masterfully brings to life the rural areas of Croatia, offering rich and emotional stories that explore human nature and life struggles.
  • Bojan Navojec, a renowned Croatian film and theater actor, known for his ability to bring depth and authenticity to every role.
