Free Film Lectures for Teachers and Educators

Written by on 2022-07-05

Professional development will take place in Zagreb on July 11th and 12th, and in Rijeka on July 14th and 15th.

The lectures begin with an introduction to participatory pedagogy by Shadow Casters, where you will learn methods for interactive and engaging teaching through games. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of film theory and explore the CinEd film collection and its associated tools. The program concludes with examples of film analysis to better prepare you for your own screenings.

CinEd’s introductory training program by Shadow Casters is an additional film education program for teachers and educators in formal and informal systems, present and future, for anyone interested in working with children and young people through film. Through lectures and practical work with top lecturers, film professionals, and educators, teachers have the opportunity to supplement and expand their knowledge of film.
