The exhibition “Wall Newspapers (WN) – Untold Zagreb 2006-2016” will present all editions of the Wall Newspapers created during the first 10 years of this extraordinary urban, participatory, and innovative project.

‘Wall Newspapers’ were launched in 2006 as a spin-off project of the long-term interdisciplinary urban project ‘Recording the City, Recording Time (RCRT)’ by Shadow Casters. They emerged from the recognized need to make research on the context of immaterial cultural heritage, memory, and urban hypertext visible and purposeful in public space, accessible to all. Shadow Casters’ ‘Wall Newspapers’ interrogate the hypertextuality of the city and urban perception by attracting a peripatetic gaze.

From 2006 to the present day, ‘Wall Newspapers’ have been presented at numerous lectures, multimedia exhibitions, workshops, and events both domestically and internationally (Split, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Genoa, Amsterdam, Maribor, Ljubljana, Leiden, Nicosia, Pancevo, Belgrade, Bangkok, Copenhagen, Washington, etc.).

The exhibition “Wall Newspapers (WN) – Untold Zagreb 2006-2016” can be viewed from October 10 to 14, 2022, at the gallery of House Reichsmann in Đakovo, and will later move to Pula and Gospić.
