Community Constellations: Encounters in Glina – Playroom for Adults

GLINA, September 15-17, 2022
Address: Hrvatski dom Glina
Registration: HERE (Free + Warm Meal)

From Thursday, September 15, we are back in Glina for a free three-day workshop “Encounters – Playroom for Adults,” where through speech, drawing, movement, and questioning, we encounter ourselves and others, exploring our flaws, virtues, powers, shortcomings, madness, and victories.

Following the wonderful experience of last week’s “Storytelling in Glina” workshop, we continue with the second part of our workshops, the playroom for adults – Encounters. These are turbulent, uncertain times, and it’s important to care for ourselves, others, and the community in various ways. Therefore, we invite you to take a break from everyday life, meet with yourself and others through stories, play, artistic programs, and the exchange of energy and experiences.

Through these workshops, playrooms, encounters, and creative evenings, we have met many residents of the Sisak-Moslavina County whose stories have enriched us, made us laugh, awakened empathy, and in some way, fostered a sense of community amidst the constellation shaped by life’s circumstances and daily routines.

Join us for these three days at the beautiful building of Hrvatski dom in Glina. Mandatory registrations and more information at: Tel. 01/4640 262, Mob. 098/165 81 86, or email: shadow.casters@gmail.com. Workshop leaders: Pavle Perković, Iva Sušec, and Martina Čarija.

Participation in the workshop is free, and a warm meal is provided for participants.

If you’re interested in participating in our programs, please fill out our form, and we will contact you: REGISTRATION

This project, in partnership with Shadow Casters, ALD Sisak, and the association Luč, aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs) from the Sisak-Moslavina County to work within the community through the development of innovative tools and methods during crisis situations. It is based on the fusion of art, creative working methods, and the encouragement and discovery of resources and knowledge among the people of the Sisak-Moslavina region.

Shadow Casters is an award-winning artistic and production platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, creativity, and the exploration of intermedial art, seamlessly integrating film production, international cooperation, theatrical performances, urban intermedial projects, activism, educational work, video art, and curatorship into comprehensive artistic endeavors.

The Sisak Local Democracy Agency (ALD Sisak) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 1996 as a pilot project of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, supporting the development of local democratic processes, the promotion of human rights, active citizenship, and international cooperation. We use a specific methodology of multilateral decentralized cooperation in partnership with local/regional self-government, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders. In 2006, we registered as a national organization and continue to operate with the same goals, addressing social context, local community needs, and trends in social innovation.

This project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund.
The project was co-financed by the Office for Associations of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
