Written by Boris on 2025-05-05
After more than six months of research, workshops, and public lectures, the Shadow Casters’ project Urboglyphs–Urbotheque enters its final phase of film and heritage reflection on Trnje – this time through film screenings of movies that were either shot in or take place in Trnje.
This project, supported by the City of Zagreb through the “Culture and Art in the Community” program, and in partnership with the Zagreb City Libraries (DK “Marin Držić”, GK “Ivana Gorana Kovačića”, GK “Savica”), the Zagreb Center for Independent Culture and Youth – Pogon, the State Archives – Croatian Film Archive, the Zagreb Public Open University, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, MO Savica, Zagreb Film, and Jadran Film, invites interested citizens and professionals to participate through workshops, public discussions, film screenings, Open Offices, lectures, urban tours, as well as film shoots and AV installations.
