A new cycle of FROOOM! film workshops is starting soon in Zagreb and Rijeka

The summer FROOOM! workshops in August always signal the start of the school year. That’s why our FROOOM! participants, both big and small, come to enjoy and create at the end of summer, relaxing just a bit more before returning to the classroom.

As always, the last week of August is reserved for FROOOM!tastic gatherings in Zagreb and Rijeka. Even the parrots at the zoo know this by now.

In Zagreb, you can look forward to 5 interesting and diverse workshops. Of course, we begin with our traditional introductory and advanced workshops. These are workshops where we either encounter film and its creation for the first time or we already know a thing or two and are ready to work on a short fiction film. We’re also preparing two master workshops: Video Game Design and Animation.

The introductory workshops this year will be led by Bojana Burnać, Anamarija Karin, and Tea Šimić, while the advanced workshops will be led by drama educator Dora Borecki and editor and cinematographer Matej Beluhan.

But that’s not all—rumor has it (and the colorful skirt drying on the line is just for your drama practice) that FROOOM! and CinEd are preparing something for our older participants as well. Keep an eye on our website because the big reveal is coming soon.

As for the lovely Rijeka, FROOOM!tastic workshops are just as exciting there. We’ve prepared an introductory workshop, an advanced directing workshop, and a masterclass in cinematography. Something for everyone.
