“Film Labyrinth” is an educational-artistic concept aimed at media, film, computer, and information literacy for adults aged 54 and above. Through this program, you can explore the theory and practice of film art, creative processes, and various media, film, and computer content. By teaching about film and media, “Film Labyrinth” offers an experience of the world of online digital tools for work, learning, creativity, and connection.
The emphasis is on the interactivity and accessibility of the workshops, combined with art, education, and good fun, with the goal of becoming film and computer experts without even noticing it.
The workshops are completely free, and the number of participants per cycle is limited to 15.
During seven independent labyrinths from October 2022 to mid-May 2023, you will have the opportunity to independently discover and watch films through a series of puzzles, which will then be discussed in individual joint online workshops. You will receive your own access to a specially designed browser application one week before the first workshop in the cycle. Part of the Labyrinth will be completed independently, while other tasks will be done in collaboration with other participants and with constant expert mentorship from the workshop leaders. Each Labyrinth has a specific theme (film dramaturgy, editing, narration, etc.) and is divided into three workshops or film sessions and one Pro workshop that deepens a specific theme with practical work. All cycles are related to Croatian film.
Each cycle lasts about a month (3 sessions), with online sessions held once a week for two hours. Each cycle also has its own PRO workshop, which lasts 3 days for 3 hours each day.
You can participate from anywhere, solve labyrinths anytime, alone or in company, while drinking coffee with a neighbor or babysitting grandchildren, even from your mobile phone on a bus. Share with us the experience of watching great films and having interesting conversations about them.
Apart from the individual exploration of the Film Labyrinth, the workshop consists of three mandatory online joint meetings on the Zoom platform. You will receive all necessary instructions and the meeting link in time. We will work together during these meetings. At the end of each cycle, you will receive a diploma.
