“Battle of Neretva” in Ljubljana

At yet another international festival, this time in Slovenia, Shadow Casters presented their play “Battle of Neretva.” This forensic stage analysis of the “battle of all battles,” the “victory of all victories,” is a pivotal point in the creation of a modern and contemporary socialist state that, for the first time in our region, achieved women’s voting rights, education for all, and social, pension, and health rights. The play was performed in Ljubljana after stops in Yerevan, Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Podgorica, Bitola, Skopje, Kutina, Slavonski Brod, Zadar, Opatija, and Kotor.

Soon, citizens of Cyprus will have the opportunity to see this play, followed by performances in Serbia later in the year.
