Community Constellations: Introductory Workshop on Strategic Planning

As part of the Community Constellations project, implemented by Shadow Casters in partnership with the Local Democracy Agency Sisak and the Association for the Promotion of Healthy Living and Improvement of Quality of Life Luč, an introductory workshop on strategic planning for civil society organizations was held.

The workshop took place from March 31 to April 1, 2022, at the Eugen Kvaternik Community Center in Sisak.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations and provide an effective response to the needs of the local community, especially in crisis situations. The first step in this process is to assist associations from the Sisak-Moslavina County in the strategic planning process and in designing the most appropriate content for their users.

In addition to the partner associations in the project, three civil society organizations from the Sisak-Moslavina County will undergo the strategic planning process: Kino Klub Sisak, the Association for Helping the Elderly from Petrinja, and the Doro Society from Sisak.

Representatives of these associations participated in a joint introductory workshop on strategic planning, where the engaged consultant, Emina Bužinkić, presented the strategic planning process, and Boris Bakal introduced the project activities and workshops planned within the project.

All associations will undergo individual strategic planning workshops, and strategic plans will be created for each association, tailored to new circumstances and current needs, helping them in their future work and development.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The content of the publication is the sole responsibility of the Shadow Casters association.
