New online Film Labyrinth – “Rebellious Kids”

Written by on 2021-08-11

We invite you to reminisce about your most rebellious years during the latest journey with Shadow Casters: the Film Labyrinth “Rebellious Kids” within the program “Sky’s the Limit” (54+).

The Film Labyrinth “Rebellious Kids” is a journey through the past and future of rebellion through three excellent films and three accompanying online video discussions about these films. If you’re over 54 years old, you can bring along your teenage grandchildren or relatives and other close youngsters (11+) on this journey to discover together our intergenerational guide to cinematic mischief! Share your knowledge with them on what interests them most—rebellion against parents/adults—and in return, learn from them how it’s done today.

Discussions about the films will be held weekly until the end of August via the Zoom platform. The first meeting will take place on Monday, August 16th, at 5 PM.

You will access the film links through puzzles (with our assistance if needed), and then we’ll send you a link to join our next online meeting. You’ll watch the films beforehand and then discuss them with us and your grandchildren.

You can sign up together with your grandchildren or relatives, or individually, by emailing: samonebonamjegranica@gmail.com

All we need is your name, email, date of birth, and city of residence, so please send this information to us via email with the subject line “Film Labyrinth.”

If you’re applying with someone else, please provide us with their contact details as well. We will use your emails to create accounts on the CinEd platform of the same project, in partnership with Shadow Casters. On this platform, you’ll be able to watch the films, accessed through the labyrinth, with Croatian subtitles.

Registration is open until Friday, August 13th, at 3 PM.

You can participate from anywhere, even from a mobile phone on the bus. It’s not necessary to be in the same place as your grandchildren, but you should want to share the experience of watching excellent films and engaging discussions with them.

The films are suitable for children aged 11 and older. The workshop is completely free of charge.

We look forward to new gatherings and await your applications!
