Send your own, your friend’s, or your neighbor’s child to this crazy hybrid (online with special live film missions) film event.

Dates: April 6-10, 2021. 10am-2pm (with short breaks)

Age group: 9-16 years old (details for each workshop below!)

When we say ‘film,’ we mean media literacy, filmmaking, IT, and information literacy through a contemporary, interactive, heuristic, and fun methodological approach that has been professionally tested for years by Shadow Casters – an organization celebrating 20 years of public, creative, production, and activist work this year.

So, we’ve prepared a variety of enriching film workshops in an online format for this upcoming Easter holiday, with plenty of hands-on work with experienced mentors, in small groups, and with new friends from all over Croatia!

The workshops will take place in Zoom classrooms from April 6-10, every day from 10am to 2pm, with regular creative breaks.

The workshops are filling up fast, but the groups are small, so hurry up and register!

For registrations and payments by April 1st, we offer discounts on all workshops.

For children who are in self-isolation due to COVID-19 during the workshops, we offer a free place in the workshop to help ease these difficult days!

Also, coming soon is a very special gift workshop for 8 participants on creating Wikipedia – interested participants will learn about the purpose of this online encyclopedia in all languages and how to contribute and create various media, textual, photographic, and video content for it – stay patient and follow our pages. The workshop will be led by intermedia artist and Wikipedian Željko Blaće.

We are ready to answer all your questions, so feel free to ask us anything.

We also invite you to check out our new European project CinEd, which we are implementing in Croatia in collaboration with the Portuguese cinémathèque, French, German, Italian, and Romanian archives, and educational institutions in the field of film literacy and professional development for educators.
