The spring workshops of Frooom! Film School for Children and Youth have concluded!

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Dr. Ivan Merz Elementary School, the spring workshops of Frooom! Film School for Children and Youth (beginner, advanced, & master) concluded with the awarding of diplomas, presentations of workshop materials, and numerous scenes from the educational and production process during these 5 days.

The school participants mingled with the professional development teachers, about 20 of them who had their own two-day workshop parallel to the Frooom! classes, and they could also participate in the other three workshops of the school. Our participants “utilized” the teachers for their films, and together they ventured into our gigantic Camera Obscura and discovered that people walk on heads (excuse me, bounce!) and that the world has been upside down from the very beginning.

We thank Dr. Ivan Merz Elementary School, Principal Jurica, and the other diligent school staff for hosting us once again, assisting us with everything, and helping clean and tidy up together.

See you soon, already in June with new workshops, special programs, and the latest crazy films. Until then, our participants and their mentors will be finishing their films and preparing them for submission to domestic and international festivals.
