The Shadow Casters at the 1st Conference on Film Literacy organized by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre

The Shadow Casters were present yesterday at the 1st Conference on Film Literacy, organized by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC).

Among numerous guests, Boris Bakal – the president and founder of the Shadow Casters – was there to present the organization and share examples of good practice through the theme Functional Film Literacy. This included showcasing projects such as Frooom!, The Sky Is The Limit, Whisper of the Walls, Film Labyrinth, CinEd, and Between Heritage and Film.

We are truly proud to have been part of the 1st Conference on Film Literacy, organized by Ingrid Pađen Đurić, senior expert advisor at HAVC, held at the Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Zagreb.
In addition to us, other inspiring projects and programs promoting film literacy, inclusion, and solidarity were passionately presented by Sandra Fabijanić (with a focus on the Film for All project), Marija Georgiev from Seventh Continent and Film in the Hospital, Marina Zlatarić with examples from school film clubs, and Sanja Zanki Pejić from the Croatian Film Association.
