FROOOM! Film “Eco Squad” Officially Selected for the Children’s International Film Festival of Wales

The Children’s International Film Festival of Wales will take place from October 15th–18th, 2025, celebrating the best international films for children, students, and professional filmmakers – including short and feature films, animations, live-action, and documentaries that inspire younger generations.
The festival showcases works created by both youth and professionals, with a special category dedicated to local filmmakers. In addition to two days of screenings, the festival will feature a prestigious red carpet awards ceremony.

The programme includes films of all genres – action, comedy, drama, fantasy, child-friendly horror, thriller, mystery, and more – as long as they are suitable for children and young audiences.

We are proud to announce that the film made by our students from Koprivnica (2023) has been officially selected for the festival. Congratulations to the team behind “Eco Squad”: Linda Terek, Ivano Peić, Viktor Horvat, Andro Glavica, Ana Suhanj, Mima Maričić, Amadea Filipović, Lara Brcković, Bruno Šoštarić, Nikolina Podnar, Marta Žužul, Bruno Horvat, and their mentors Mirna Ostrošić, Matej Beluhan, and Mia Maros Živković.

This is not the first festival appearance for “Eco Squad” – it was already part of the Official Programme at the Atlanta Children’s Film Festival, USA (2025), and won the Audience Award in the category “Taking Care” at the ENIMATION Festival in Maribor, Slovenia (2024).
