Written by on 2025-06-02

We are proud to announce that the short film Eco Squad, created at the FROOOM! film workshop, has been selected for yet another festival through the FilmFreeway platform!

This time, it’s the Atlanta Children’s Film Festival, which promotes positive, educational, and entertaining films for children and the whole family. This fun and educational film festival lasts two weeks and offers a variety of exciting activities, including film screenings, media literacy workshops, and video production sessions for children, teens, and independent producers. The upcoming festival will take place from October 10 to 26, 2025.

About the film
“The race is on for the position of mayor in the town of Koprivnica. Will the current mayor win the votes, or will the new candidate who defends the city from overwhelming waste take the lead? Eco Squad is a film that teaches us how to behave in our own city. It shows us how to care for what is ours—because the city we live in is ours.”*

Congratulations to our participants who, with the help of their mentors, created a film that found its way all the way to the USA!
