22 PEOPLE WITH QUALITIES

“22 People with Qualities” is an entertaining and innovative ‘cultural-animation’ program by Shadow Casters aimed at our existing and potential new theater audience: focusing on unknown aspects of performance stage works and evaluating theater from the perspective of a special viewer – one who is informed about what happens behind the scenes, during rehearsals, and in the creative process.

With this, we aim to attract an audience that, due to their life choices and often their opportunities, has not chosen or could not choose performing arts as a focus of their standard habitus.

As part of the “22 People with Qualities” program in Pakrac, Lipik, and Plaški, a series of interactive lectures are organized with renowned and esteemed professionals from the theater world (actors, directors, screenwriters, set designers, costume designers, etc.) who will share their professional and life experiences and stories with the audience beyond the classic viewing experience.

Through indirect experience, the audience will be able to better connect with the artists through lively discussions and informal gatherings, understand the creative process of each artist, recognize the importance of interaction with the audience, and its ultimate significance in contemporary theater creation.

The “22 People with Qualities” program is part of the Audience Development program by the Ministry of Culture and Media. The program is led by the Shadow Casters Association, with partners: “KPD Sloga” Pakrac, Social Services Association “Help at Home for the Elderly and Infirm”, Lipik, and Radar d.o.o. Plaški.
