Creative Evening: “The Unknown Bojan Navojec”

The creative evening “The Unknown Bojan Navojec” will take place in Pakrac at the Croatian House “Dr. Franjo Tuđman” on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, starting at 6:00 PM. The evening will showcase Bojan Navojec as a theater, film, and TV actor, performer, multi-author of plays and dance performances, as well as a photographer, writer, and conceptual artist.

Bojan will engage in conversation with moderator Boris Bakal—actor, director, interdisciplinary artist, and head of Shadow Casters—about his artistic work, techniques for “summoning” inspiration, his preparations for specific performances or artistic endeavors, experiences overcoming personal and social obstacles, and significant works across all artistic fields.

At the beginning of the lecture, a short trailer showcasing the artist’s body of work will be presented, created by Marija Georgiev, director and award-winning filmmaker.

Admission to the creative evening is free, and the organizers will ensure strict adherence to all pandemic protection measures during the event.

This creative evening with Bojan Navojec is just the first in a series of artistic evenings held under the program “22 People with Attributes,” co-financed by the Ministry of Culture. The next creative evening in Pakrac will feature Davor Špišić (October 3 at 6 PM), an award-winning writer, dramaturg, and theater critic.
