The sky is the limit – the spring cycle of film workshops has concluded.

We have wrapped up another successful edition of our film workshop for seniors, The Sky is the Limit. Once again, our participants did not disappoint. All of them successfully completed the beginner, advanced, or master-level workshop and proudly took home their well-earned certificates.

The goal of Shadowcasters (Bacači sjenki) with this project is to contribute to a higher level of media literacy among older adults, encourage intergenerational connection, and reduce generational misunderstandings. We also aim to promote the active involvement of older citizens in community life and to improve their overall quality of life. Despite their age or retirement status, older individuals can continue to actively contribute to their personal growth and the development of their community—especially through media and film literacy.

During the workshops, participants had the opportunity to explore all stages of the filmmaking process, including image and sound recording, directing, scriptwriting, and much more. Through teamwork, they collaboratively created a final product—a short film that showcases their creativity and cinematic skills.
