The final phase of the “Imprint” project (Education for Social Equality, Cohesion, and Solidarity through Active Participation of Children) has begun, featuring screenings of children’s animated and live-action films created during workshops by the Shadow Casters Association. Over 150 children participated in various project activities, including awareness workshops, capacity-building workshops for public campaigns and community actions, workshops on Croatian Sign Language, Braille writing, and mobility using white canes and guide dogs.
The film and animation workshops were conducted by the Shadow Casters Association, and due to the pandemic, workshops were held in a combined format—both in-person and online—which presented significant challenges but were successfully executed. Despite everything, upper-grade children from five elementary schools learned the basics of creating animated and live-action films, and the results of their work will be presented to the public, accompanied by a small ceremony to commend the children who dedicated themselves to the films and participated in all project activities.
Congratulations to all workshop participants, collaborators, and project partners!
