ONLY THE SKY IS THE LIMIT – Film Workshops for People Aged 54+

Shadow Casters invites everyone interested to take part in free film workshops primarily intended for people aged 54 and over.

Through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, participants will discover the fundamentals of filmmaking—from film language, framing and screenwriting to shooting, editing and new media.

The programme consists of three workshop levels:

Beginner Film Workshop: 28 September–2 October 2026 – no previous experience required
Advanced Film Workshop: 5–9 October 2026 – you have already learned a thing or two
Master Film Workshop: 12–16 October 2026 – take flight with film
(There will be no workshop on 14 October—we’ll be meditating!)

Participants with little or no previous experience are advised to enrol in the Beginner Workshop, where they will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking. After completing the Beginner Workshop, they may continue their film education in the Advanced Workshop, and upon completing the advanced level, they may join the Master Workshop.

Participants who have already completed one of the previous levels may apply directly for the next level without having to repeat an earlier workshop.

Priority will be given to pensioners and unemployed participants. If places remain available, younger applicants are also welcome to take part.
